Clinical dietetics 2

6 points + 6 hours per week contact + 6 hours private study + Second Semester + Prerequisites: Completion of Years 1 and 2 Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics or its equivalent

Synopsis: The underlying principles and management of dietetics in the domain areas of aged care, rehabilitation, obstetrics, pregnancy and lactation, neonatology, paediatrics, and adolescent health will be taught within the clinical structures of the networks. Appropriate interventions in each instance will be studied, seen in the context of the total medical history and condition, with outcome assessment as a central part of the training.

Assessment: Examination: 60% + Critical analysis in tutorial classes 10% + Case study presentation: 30%
