12 points + 24 hours per week comprising 8 taught studio hours and 16 independent study hours + Second Semester + Caulfield + Prerequisites: APA4521 + Core option for Metals/Jewellery stream within GradDipAppA Synopsis: Research based, it provides an important creative and critical framework for the development of self initiated object making. This includes planning professional practice outcomes and sitting the context for their work into the wider art and design community. Students are expected to produce a coherent body of work at a high level of technical skill and creative energy. They will provide documentation of their work suitable for future professional promotion, or a research paper, or a critical paper suitable for publication in a professional journal.
