Synopsis: Studio sessions and tutor demonstrations develop the design processes, understanding of materials, forming methods and technical procedures assosicated with studio projects. The theory of contemporary glass practice, including technical, conceptual, aesthetic and cultural issues, is delivered in regular fortnightly seminars. Students are encouraged to research and discuss issues related to both the practical and theoretical content of the course.

Assessment: Portfolio of work and research paper + Mid semester :20% + End of semester: 80%
