3 points + 2 lecture/seminar/tutorial hours and 4 independent study hours per week + First and second semester + Caulfield + Elective Synopsis: Design theory as a tool for developing concepts and aesthetic concerns. Processes in developing work from the initial concept through to planning and completion of individual projects. A study of contemporary design issues, with a particular focus on jewellery and metalsmithing, is also included. Assessment: Folio: 80% + Assigned projects: 20% |
