Anatomy of head, neck and brain

6 points + 6 hours per week + First semester + Clayton + Prerequisites: Pass in ANT2311 or Credit in ANT2331 or by permission + Prohibitions: ANT3011

Synopsis: The teaching of Human Anatomy in this program will include dissection of the head, neck, brain and associated tissues and organs using human cadavers and will provide students with an integrated basic understanding of the gross and functional anatomy of this region of the human body. The course will also include those aspects of living anatomy, radiology, and the relevant components of embryology, endocrinology and histology which are required to develop an integrated knowledge and understanding of the anatomy of this region.

Assessment: Examination (2 hours - MCQ/Short answer paper): 60% + Continuous assessment: 15% + "Flag race" (1 hour): 25%
