Synopsis: This subject provides students with an overview of the complexity of Aboriginal health and ill-health. It also looks at the impact of colonisation on the health and well-being of Indigenous Australians. It examines access to health care systems and evaluates how Aboriginal communities practice self-determination in the delivery of health care.

Assessment: Journal (750 words): 10% + Research topic proposal (750 words): 20% + Research project (2000 words): 50% + Class test (1 hour): 20%
