Synopsis: In examining a range of concepts about the nature of competition, competitive advantage and competitive strategy; the subject is intended to provide a theoretical framework for the study of specific, current issues in competitive advantage which form the basis of the second subject in this area, AFF5401 (Issues in competitive advantage II).

Assessment: Minor assignment: 20% + Major assignment: 40% + Examination (2 hours): 40%
