Professor Rob Chenhall 7 points + 3-hour session per week + First semester + Clayton + Prerequisites: AFC2130 and AFC3130 Synopsis: The role of the accounting system for purposes of strategic management. Topics include contemporary performance measures, human aspects of management accounting and an evaluation of contemporary management accounting; cost data appropriate for decision models; special problems in analysing recurring activities including the measurement of departmental and divisional performance; decision models under conditions of uncertainty.
