Graduate Certificate in Media Sales*

This course is designed to prepare graduates for a career in media sales. Students should form a broad conceptual understanding of the media and advertising industry environment and specific understanding of media audience research methodologies, media planning, buying and selling methods and customer relationship development.
Applicants require a pass degree or equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution.
Following the full-time six-week block session, student will begin a 12-month employment cadetship at a leading media company as an entry-level media executive (salary range of approximately $27,000 to 32,000 per annum in 2000).
This is a fee-paying course. Course fees are set and reviewed annually and are therefore subject to change. Candidates should consult the Department of Marketing as to the 2001 course fee.
