Master of Multimedia*

This coursework masters degree prepares graduates from various undergraduate backgrounds for work within the multimedia industry. It provides students with the skills needed to function as professional multimedia developers and prepares them for careers in the management and development of multimedia applications.
Taught by the Faculty of Art and Design and the Faculty of Information Technology, the course covers studio work in systems and web development, digital imaging and design. This is backed up with subjects which tackle the legal, ethical and philosophical issues behind the multimedia revolution.
The program runs for three semesters full-time or six semesters part-time. Exit points are available at the graduate certificate or graduate diploma level.
Applicants should hold a bachelors degree from Monash University or other recognised institution. Applicants should contact the graduate officer in the faculty office on (03) 9903 1962 for an application form.
