Master of Fine Arts

Course code: 2953 * Caulfield campus, Gippsland campus * External mode
This course is based on independent creative research through the development of skills in formulating, planning, conducting and evaluating visual research. Studio supervision assists in the formulation of ideas and encourages candidates to enhance the quality and power of their visual work. The program consists of two components: coursework and studio research. The course is undertaken over two years full-time or four years part-time.
Applicants should hold an honours degree IIA or higher, or graduate/postgraduate diploma in an area appropriate to their research discipline from Monash University, or an equivalent qualification from another tertiary institution or university approved by the faculty.
