This course caters for health care professionals working within the mental health and psychiatric disability fields who wish to upgrade and develop their practice in modern community mental health care.
Applicants must have a bachelors degree with major studies in psychiatry, medicine, psychology, nursing, social work, physiotherapy, occupational therapy or other allied health-related disciplines.
The course is conducted over four semesters part-time. It is not offered on a full-time basis. The first year of the course is currently being amended, with four new units to be based on the following areas:

Assessment will be in the form of written reports or essays demonstrating understanding and integration of the material provided.
