How has feminism challenged our ideas of "knowledge" and "learning"? What is Women0s Studies? This subject will introduce students to this interdisciplinary field. It will cover the development of the field and how it relates to wider changes in the status of women and the contemporary feminist movement. It also introduces students to a range of critical and analytic approaches that characterise the field of Women0s Studies and to contemporary debates concerning the impact and relevance of feminism today.
