Visual arts studio 4

12 points + 8 studio hours and 16 independent study hours per week + Second semester + Caulfield, Gippsland + Prerequisite: VIS2103

Synopsis: Students explore themes in their work in relation to the cultures and traditions. The investigation comprises research into the conceptual, formal and technical aspects of the work of a number of appropriate artists. Students complete a folio of art work and keep a journal in relation to the set projects. Studio practice may be undertaken in complementary areas such as painting, photography and sculpture.

Assessment: Folio: 80% + Journal: 20%
