Synopsis: Drugs used in endocrinology. Cardiovascular pharmacology. Drugs used in the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders, respiratory tract disorders and urogenital conditions. Anti-inflammatory drugs. Cancer chemotherapy. Skin pharmacology. Central nervous system pharmacology. Practical classes using in vivo and in vitro experiments, seminars and discussion groups.

Assessment: + Mid-year examination (June) (2 hours): 35% + Practical work: 15% + End-of-year examination (2.5 hours): 50%
