Synopsis: Introduction to the many forms of typographic expression and communication. Contemporary and historical methods of typographic production, from print to digital media. Set projects engage students in a dynamic process of skill development, creative conceptualisation and problem resolution while increasing their understanding of the role of typography in graphic design practice.
Assessment: Major projects: 70% + Minor projects: 30%
