Synopsis: It is a tenet of this subject that society changes as the media by which members of society are educated and informed also change. The media of communication are amongst the most powerful determinants of attitudes in today's society, to such an extent that the very way we think about issues may well depend on how the information about them has been delivered to us. This subject will examine the social, historical, organisational and business context of the development of multimedia.
