Synopsis: Theory and application of object-oriented programming techniques as implemented in the Java programming language and GUI applications for the World Wide Web. Issues important to WWW programming such as security and client-server communication, Network libraries, JavaBeans and Java Database Connectivity. Object-oriented concepts of abstraction, encapsulation, inheritance and polymorphism.
