Synopsis: Introduction to management and organisational theory applied to small business. Invoicing, payments, salaries and salary payments, cash flow, determination of fee rates, profit, cost allocation, taxation, information systems, networks, databases. Legal requirements, registration, insurance liability and indemnity insurance, industrial relations and legal responsibilities and finance for small business. Criteria for selection of computer hardware and software for small business management.
