Advanced health assessment

6 credit points + 12 hours per week including 75 hours of supervised clinical activities and fieldwork over the semester + First semester + Gippsland & Peninsula

Synopsis: The student will develop proficiency in health through the development of skills related to: assessment interviewing; physical appraisal; assessment data analysis; incorporating changes in health assessment related to the age of the client and cultural and ethnic variations; comprehensive, periodic and focused health assessments.

Assessment: Module 1: Clinical portfolio: 20 %, Exam: 20%, Literature review: 10%, Objective Structured Clinical Assessment (OSCA): Pass/Fail.- Module 2: Clinical portfolio: 20%, Case study: 20%, Oral presentation: 10% Objective Structured Clinical Assessment (OSCA): Pass/Fail
