Synopsis: Builds on NUR1101 Nursing Practice 1 including health and human responses to needs and problems over the lifespan. The development of nursing skills to support individuals with interruptions to health and/or unable to undertake normal activities of daily living. The subject uses systematic approaches to decision making for planning and the provision of nursing care. It is a foundation for nursing practice in the clinical setting.
Assessment: Assignment: 30% + Test: 30% + Examination: 40% + Clinical experience: Pass/fail. 100% attendance at clinical placement is compulsory. Students must pass both the theoretical and clinical to pass the subject
