24 points + First and second semester + Clayton + Prerequisite: Credit in MUS3990.

Synopsis: The student is required to prepare and present an extended (40-45 minute) concert recital, the works of which have been chosen in consultation with a supervisor for their unity of intellectual purpose. The student organises the concert and writes critical program annotations explaining the choice of program. Students are required to participate in orchestral, choral and chamber ensembles as directed.

Assessment: Written (3000 words): 30% + Performance: 70%
