Orchestral and choral performance and studies

4 points + 4 hours per week + First semester + Clayton + Prerequisites: Audition or passes in MUS1120, MUS1130

Synopsis: Students are allocated to an orchestral or choral ensemble for the performance of selected music and play an appropriate repertoire. Their performance assignments are normally to be performed on their chief instrument or voice. Classes also deal with repertoire, performance techniques and musicianship.

Assessment: Written (2000 words): 25% + Concert performance and practical examination: 75%
