Synopsis: Introduction to strategy concepts, strategy analysis, strategy choice and strategy implementation. The relationship between corporate and business strategies, and the issues relating to strategic capability and strategy choice in a global, integrated business environment. Structure, culture and leadership factors.

Assessment: On campus - Assignments 1 (2000 words): 15% + Assignment 2 (2500 words): 25% + Tutorial: 10% + Examination (3 hours): 50%. Distance - Assignments 1 (2000 words): 20% + Assignment 2 (2500 words): 30% + Examination (3 hours): 50%
