Synopsis: Topics include an introduction to the major differences between domestic and international HRM; cultural, social and ethical issues for IHRM; IHRM planning, policies and procedures; international relations and evaluation of host country environments; recruitment and selection; remuneration; training and compensating expatriates; maintaining the employment relationship within international operations.

Assessment: Written minor assignment (1000 words): 15% + (major assignment (2000 words) 25% + Tutorial presentation and participation: 10% + Examination (2 hours): 50%
