Synopsis: This elective subject covers the following areas: recording an electrocardiogram, the normal electrocardiogram, the axis, sinus rhythm and extrasystoles, left ventricular hypertrophy, right ventricular hypertrophy, left bundle branch block and the hemiblocks, right bundle branch block, myocardial infarction, myocardinal ischaemia, atrial fibrillation and flutter, the paroxysmal tachycardias, atrio-ventricular block, miscellaneous, p wave abnormalities, S-T segment abnormalities, T and U wave abnormalities, unknown ECGs and clinical cases.
