Total of two weeks lecture and clinical tutorial program in infectious disease units of Monash teaching hospitals and the sexual health centre

Synopsis: Major topics include HIV-related problems, fever and imported infections, rashes, respiratory infections, jaundice, diarrhoeal syndromes, CNS infections, tuberculosis, zoonoses, tetanus, Guillain-Barre syndrome, infections in the immunicompromised host, nosocomial infections and pyrexia of unknown origin.

Assessment: MCQ paper (satisfactory faculty requirement)
