Synopsis: This subject teaches medical history taking and physical examination skills in the neurological and genitourinary systems, special senses and taking a drug history. The subject offers lectures, practical skills tutorials and clinical contact visists to general practitioners, community pharmacists and an obstetric unit. The subject encompasses a summary of the second-year course content so students will cover a broard range of basic skills in history-taking and physical examination of all the major body systems. Students commence a family case study that continues in MED3052.
