Synopsis: As for JPS2140

Assessment: Oral presentation (also submitted in written form) on a site to be visited (1,000 words ) + Post-site visit critique (500 words) + Critique of another student0s site visit presentation (500 words): 30% + Major research essay (3,000 words): 50% + Exam (1 hour): 20% + Note: Major essay to be submitted by the end of week eight of the first semester + Third year students will be expected to demonstrate an awareness of ideological issues and relevant cultural theory in their essays
