Synopsis: Comprehension of written Japanese presented in a journalistic style. Students read articles from newspapers covering a wide range of topics at different levels of complexity. The subject emphasises the development of students0 ability to read kanji used in newspaper articles.

Assessment: Presentation: 20% + Tests: 80%
