Synopsis: JLG4805 expands competence in spoken Japanese for use in Japanese tourism in Australia. The content focuses on family life, work, housing, leisure, holidays and Melbourne0s sightseeing spots. Wide reading is included for the purpose of information gathering and delivery in Japanese. In the second part of the subject students practise professional discourse in various service situations.

Assessment: Class presentation: 20% + Class performance in professional discourse: 10% + Assignment: 10% + Test (1 hour): 60%
