Introduction to Control. Physical and mathematical modelling of engineering systems. Stability of control systems, Transient and steady state behaviour of control systems. Control strategies. System Identification. Enterprise Resource Packages (ERP). Integration of Process control to Enterprise Resource Packages. Case studies in process control, manufacturing and maintenance systems.
Assessment: Examination (3 hours): 70% + Tests and assignment: 30%
