Synopsis: This subject will consist of a series of seminars presented by leading practitioners in the Information Management and Systems community, discussing the issues, which they see as being central to the discipline. The presenters will be leading figures from private businesses, government, consultancies and the academic community, who have a deep knowledge of current trends in the use of information management and systems in organisations. The presentations will aim to increase students0 awareness of the issues currently of concern to information management and systems practitioners, and to stimulate discussion of how information management and systems practices could be improved.
