Synopsis: Students are introduced to the principles of small scale architectural and interior construction and their application in interiors. Topics include incorporation of services, structure, materials, basic material science, construction methods and systems. the subject includes lectures, tutorials and a scale construction method, the major materials used in small scale constructiona nd interiors, and commerical building site have arhitectural and building construction at the commencement of interior systems and frameworks stage.

Assessment: Examination: 35% + Project: 50% + Tutorial presentations: 15%
