6 points + 156 hrs of project work (including 26hr Lecture/Seminars, 13 hrs Laboratory/Tutorial) + Second semester + Gippsland/distance + Prerequisite GSE2800

Synopsis: Students will undertake an investigation into mechatronics problems. The projects will be industry-related. However, University-based projects may be acceptable. The students are expected to use various kinds of study (eg laboratory work, field studies and literature survey) as required. Teamwork is highly encouraged in the project.

Assessment: Progress reports: 20% + Oral presentation: 20% + Final report: 60%
