Synopsis: Introduction to semiconductor devices and their characteristics, applications of diodes such as clipping, clamping, rectifiers, filters and regulators. BJT transistor modeling and amplifier analysis and design, frequency response of amplifiers, operational amplifiers and their applications.

Assessment: Examination (3 hours): 70% + Assignments: 20% + Laboratory: 10%
