Synopsis: Knowledge, values and skills in welfare practice. Introduction to social casework, groupwork in welfare practice, and the welfare interview. Compulsory three-day residential workshop preceding and during the third weekend school of the semester. Teleconference discussion with the subject adviser will be available to students.
Assessment: Casework assignment (1000 words): 15% + Workbook assignment (2000 words): 35% + Interview assignment (1000 words): 15% + Groupwork assignment (2000 words): 35%
