12 points + 300 hours project work + Full-year + Gippsland/distance + Prerequisites: Completion of third-year studies
Synopsis: Students undertake a project related to a realistic industrial problem, developing a solution over a period of about 30 weeks and presenting their findings in the form of a detailed report and at a seminar. Project topics are agreed in consultation with a campus-based supervisor. Where projects are carried out in conjunction with an outside body, an industry based supervisor is also appointed.
Assessment: A final detailed report, progress reports and oral report(s) at seminar(s)
