Synopsis: Basic concepts of structural analysis. Analysis of statically determinate structures (classical and matrix formulations). Reaction forces for planar and non-planar structures. Member forces in trusses and truss-type space frameworks. Member forces/deflected shapes in beams and frame structures. Shear and moment diagrams and deflected shapes for statically determinate and indeterminate structures.

Assessment: Examination: 70% + Assignments: 30%
