Synopsis: A brief introduction to dynamics including coverage of general principles followed by detailed study in four broad topics. Kinematics of particles: rectilinear and curvilinear motion, relative motion. Kinetics of particles: Newton0s second law, work of a force, kinetic energy, power, efficiency, potential energy, conservation of energy. Kinematics of rigid bodies: translation, rotation, absolute and relative motion. Kinetics of rigid bodies.
