Synopsis: The second teaching and curriculum studies subject of the course. In part-time distance education mode this subject will normally be taken in the second year of study. Students study curriculum development (see GEC1402) and choose a 'second method' (either following on from their first method choice, ie double-method or a second area of teaching altogether).

Assessment: These relate to the assessment requirements for each method plus assessment for curriculum development: Essay: (2X500 words): 30% + Examination: 30% + Essay: 40%
