Synopsis: Introduction to business information systems, computer hardware and software, overview of programming languages, input/output and storage devices, files, file design, database fundamentals, use of microcomputer application software for business data processing including word processing, spreadsheets and database management systems, introduction to system analysis and overview of the system development lifecycle.
