9 points + 10 studio hours and 8 independent study hours per week + Second semester + Caulfield + Prerequisites: FNA1801 + Prohibitions: FNA1903, FNA1904

Synopsis: Introduction to the fundamentals of tapestry practice and theory through set projects. The projects present technical and aesthetic problems which students solve in an innovative manner. Lectures, gallery visits, slide talks, artists0 talks, group tutorials and suggested reading material form an important adjunct to the studio practice.
