Synopsis: This subject introduces students to a range of procedures and techniques through set projects. Although conceptual, aesthetic and theoretical concerns are addressed, this subject primarily focuses on developing students' technical and perceptual skills. Introduction to a found language of visual communication including the use of line, tone, texture and form in coherent compositions. Several printmaking techniques are introduced with specific projects to explore their potential for visual expression.
