Quantitative techniques and software applications for management

Synopsis: Introduction to the principles of operations research and its application, using computer software packages, to typical managerial problems; linear programming applications such as the optimisation of a distribution network will be demonstrated; the principles and application of simulation to manufacturing; advanced forecasting methods as applicable in management.
