Synopsis: Issues in the internationalisation of Australian education. Demographic patterns of student and staff movement and the history of Australian policies on international education since the Second World War. Processes of globalisation and their implications for international education including approaches to educational management, curriculum development, pedagogy, future conceptions of education, Australian culture and identity, and regional understanding.

Assessment: Essay (3000 words): 50% + Practical exercise (3000 words): 50%
