Synopsis: Difference and equity, especially as they relate to educational policy and practice. Basic elements of feminist, postcolonial and poststructuralist theories and the ways issues of gender, ethnicity and class, and their intersections impact on curriculum, pedagogy and administration in educational settings. Issues include /transformative curriculum0, /access and equity0 and /inclusive curriculum0; educational policies such as gender equity, multiculturalism and anti-racism; and programs such as the disadvantaged schools program.
