Synopsis: Resting membrane potentials derived from first principles. Effects of fixed membrane charges. Action potentials. Hodgkin-Huxley equations. Propagation speed and recruitment order. Electrodes and amplifers for recording from the body. Electro-cardiograms, electro-myograms, electroencephalograms and the signals they produce.
