Synopsis: The study uses key concepts of microeconomics such as economies of scale, barriers to entry, concentration, sales promotion and product differentiation, vertical and horizontal integration, oligopolistic market strategies, and financial power. Australian industry is subjected to scrutiny in terms of these concepts.
