Synopsis: Students are introduced to computers as a tool for artists and designers. While the acquisition of skills, in particular the ability to create, adapt, edit and manipulate digital images is an essential component of this subject, emphasis is also placed on encouraging students' creative and expressive abilities using this medium. To facilitate this creative ability, students are introduced to the various software options including, 'drawing', 'painting' and 'photographic editing' software.
